Waiheke Island sits in the Hauraki Gulf of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand, and is the nation’s most densely populated island. The Waiheke ferry timetable includes numerous sailings every day from Auckland Harbour, as well as numerous daily routes from Devonport and Half Moon Bay.
The Downtown Ferry Terminal is located at 99 Quay Street, in Central Downtown Auckland. Waiheke is a 40 minute scenic ferry ride across the beautiful Waitemata Harbour to Matiatia Wharf. Light snacks and refreshments are available to purchase on board these vessels. Ferries depart hourly throughout the day from 5.30am until 11.45pm (weekdays).
